Taxi for Torres - judas fecks off to chelsea

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby RED BEERGOGGLES » Tue Oct 19, 2010 9:31 pm

Torres is possibly the best thing that has happened to this club in  a very long time ...his loyalty to the team is without question ...
but the lies he was spun by Purslow and the current incumbent in order to pledge his allegiance to The Reds ,has been sadly proven as false promises... and the  mind set of the manager in his insistence in continually playing in this cowardly manner has suddenly found one of the best strikers in world football seriously doubting the managers credibility .....as for Gerrard he is by far our most talented player at the club but if truth be told a totally motivated Gerrard would have already made a difference ....he has in all honesty been sub standard ...the same can be said for Carragher his play this season has been strewn with errors ,he has been made to look extremely uncomfortable at times .... but that said I don't think he is finished just yet ....he simply needs someone comfortable on the ball beside him cue Daniel Agger ... but as has been stated in numerous media reports Roy doesn't rate ....... what's not to rate is baffling it truly is
so yes I would blame the manager for not having the bottle to play Gerrard on the flanks and maybe start to blood the young Shelvey who has desire and no little skill to spare ..... Torres is a cracking kid who is extremely down to earth ffs can we stop moaning about the good things we have and hope to retain .... and start waking up to the obvious

so how long does he have to sulk and not try for. I said we should of sold him cos i knew this would happen. now the money keeps going down and down. All he has to do is at least look as if hes trying. Roy should start with ngog and bring him on second half. Ngog will show passion and thats all us fans want.

i get slated yes but least i have the balls to say what people are really thinking. Its not the fact he isnt scoring its his attitude. And at the end of the day hes in a vital position where if we dont start scoring soon were gona be well and truly fecked. Never mind what hes done in the past its here and now we need him more than ever. Am sick of people sticking up for him. All i want to see is some effort cos at the moment hes just taking the fecking pess.

Roy Hodgson has admitted that Wayne Rooney's desire to leave Manchester United is likely to prompt interest in Fernando Torres from their arch-rivals.

Rooney declared on Wednesday that he was heading for the exit door at Old Trafford after six years at the club, prompting immediate speculation about who his replacement will be in United's attacking line.

Chelsea and Manchester City were both linked with a move for Torres during the summer, and with Liverpool's awful form this season so far and the Spanish international cutting a forlorn, frustrated figure at Anfield, speculation over his future is likely to continue.

Hodgson however stated that Torres, who was linked with a move to United before joining the Reds in 2007, would not be the only name on Sir Alex Ferguson's wanted list.

"I think I'd have to say we'd cross that bridge when we come to it," the Reds boss said when asked about the threat of United possibly trying to sign Torres.

Target
"I am pretty sure when a great player like Wayne Rooney is looking to leave his club, Manchester United will be in a position to target an awful lot of players around the world.

"I don't think Fernando Torres would be the only player they will be targeting or [we would be] the only club worried their star striker is going to be a target.

"They will have the opportunity to replace him with many star strikers around the world, so all I can say is I am not naive to the situation.

"I am not naive enough to think there is no danger we will ever lose a player like Fernando Torres.

"I can only hope we won't and I will make certain I do everything in my power to keep him happy at the club, help him improve his current form and to get him playing for Liverpool as he has in the past."

What's the chance of Torres being tempted to go to the Mancs to replace Rooney if he leaves? Hopefully in his current form he will be overlooked.  :shifty

I'm not looking forward to the next transfer window.

Like someone said before I'm a HUGE Torres fan and I will support him no matter what but he needs to buck his ideas up asap before other fans turn against him.

I dont think he has lost his passion for the club, but he is clearly out of form and has been so since he came back from his injury to go to the world cup.

However he seems :censored: off at the way we play, as the current tactics does nothing to help him regain his form. It doesnt help that Hodgson is talking :censored: about him in the media either. It looks like Torres and Hodgson dont get along.

At last! You are recognising that the players have responsibilty for the way they are performing (or not).
This is good progress RBG. Keep it up...

NESV are aware of the precarious situation at the club and their relationship with the fans needs to be built and talkSPORT has learned that they will refuse to sell Torres to United."
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Even if they do sell Torres to Man u, would Torres go there? If he does, it makes him more of a judas than Owen.

I'm not liking Torres' attitude, he isn't loyal than people think he is :glare:

Leave Torres alone guys. He is fine. Its just the setup we're playing in right now does not suit him.

Bring in another adventurous coach with adventurous tactics and he'll start bagging in the goals.
