In a nutshell, that sums up what's wrong with modern day football. Players have far too much power. They can pick and choose which managers they want to play for. Look at Drogba under Scolari at Chelsea.

Yeah I felt a bit sorry for Scolari when that happened. Players have way too much power.

So what we have is players who previously were fed up under Rafa, now they are fed up under Roy. Where does the buck stop? Sure Roy needs to go anyway but the players need to show some grit and passion. It's bad enough to lose a game but to show no passion makes it 10x worse. In particular if senior squad members start to show they are not motivated then I imagine it can easily filter down to the rest of the squad to the point where week in week out they cannot be :censored:... which is where we now find ourselves.

One positive is that we have some £££ now so come the next transfer window we should be able to bring in the 3 or 4 quality players we need. But we need to get in a manager who can motivate the players too, a big name marquee manager.

Hmmmmmmmmm............. Maybe the finger needs pointing in the direction of the scouse duo who have far to much to f,ucking say at what goes on at LFC cant believe Carra got a 2 year contract on saturday.

The scouse duo though do continue to give 100% which ought to be a pre requisite. I know Carra once and for all fecked himself with the posse with his admission that it was "time for a change" as far as Benitez was concerned, but it doesn't alter the fact that he's still our best defender. This despite tens of signings of defenders since he's been at the club, and despite the obvious fact he isn't quite the player he used to be.

As for Gerrard, fecking hell I don't know what to say really. While we can all debate the record of the manager who divides all even to this day, surely we can agree that were it not for the fact he had Steven Gerrard on arrival, and throughout the best years of his career (because he isn't QUITE as good as he used to be either), then Benitez's reign would have had two less trophies than it actually did.

I personally believe that Gerrard and Carra had a big part to play in Rafa getting sacked and an English manager been appointed.   (Purslow would of asked their opinions)

Now that Torres has gotten a taste of life under Roy, he's probably confronted Gerrard/Carra and said "WTF Lads!", leading to a bust up.

There was some evidence during the Sunderland game and the fact that they haven't spoke of each other in public.
Also, one of our young lads said that Roy "Favoured" the English players.

I really hope there isn't any English vs Foreign divide at the club.  That would be a huge problem.

FWIW, id side with the Foreigners!  :D

Agger's our best defender. This season the Greek has been our best defender, which sums it up considering he was brought in as fourth choice.

Carra's been on the wane for two years. It comes to something when he comes out and says that if he's not in the first team he'll not sign a new contract and he'll be off in the summer. If that was the case he should have been told to shove it.

As for Gerrard, the bloke's the best player I've ever seen in a red shirt but that doesn't make the guy immune from criticism either. This notion of "you can't criticise him because of what he's done in his career" is nonsense. The bloke has strolled around for 18 months in a sulk most of the time and yet people had the audacity to blame other players for that. At least the effort has clearly been there this season and when the effort is there he's still clearly our best player.

Its got feckall to do with any Posse what ever that is, I want the best for LFC and these two had a say in Hodgson getting the job.

On sunday when Lucas went off Gerrard was looking at Roy for instructions Roy didnt even look at him maybe he forgot, or maybe he thought him and Meirless know what to do, but it was another embarressment from Roy Hodsgon even the commentators couldnt believe it.

If anyone think Carra deserves 90 grand a week and to play every game for us for another two seasons is off their heads !!!!

Torres has lost all his passion for the club and it's showing on the field. He's no longer closing down or trying to win the ball back, He's trying to take on every player in sight and ends up losing the ball. Like someone said before I'm a HUGE Torres fan and I will support him no matter what but he needs to buck his ideas up asap before other fans turn against him.

Maybe his trying to do too much and take blokes on cos he knows his surrounded by duds that aren't getting him the ball and if he passes it they're likely to give it away. I can't understand all the Torres hate he shouldn't be playing with half of these guys and he knows it. He goes away with Spain and has Iniesta, Villa, Xavi, Alonso, Fabregas etc etc etc around him then comes back to see Lucas, Konchesky, Babel, Poulsen. No wonder he doesn't look happy

All strikers lose that scoring touch, and the service he gets isn't the best but what worries me most is how easily he is knocked off the ball by defenders. Plus the constant moaning is getting beyond a joke now.

Some :censored: idiots on twitter tonight. Matt Dickinson saying Torres would be ideal for Utd if shrek went. Fk that they are on their way down anyway unless they shift the Glaziers. Would rather sell him to Barca though, if he actually wants to go that is.
