Choose your favourite guitars out of these 6. I have picked them all in the same colour so that can't be a deciding factor.

There are other guitars available but I only chose to put these 6 in the poll, which are pretty much the most popular electric guitar types in the world.

just for fun, no falling out please...

Has to be the Strat although the Les Paul is also a beautiful instrument.

i like the les paul. it was just meant to be black. born to be. any other color and it looks kinda funny. but if that's the color you want for your guitar, then i dont think you're doing a lot of wrong if you get yourself that les paul.

as far as personal favorites go, epiphone's hollow body rivieras and casinos are one of the most beautiful guitars i have ever picked up. just holding the fret board and picking a chord, sends shivers down the spine.

I have a 52ri Fender Telecaster and a whole load of others. Never got on with Gibsons. I used to be a strat player but now, tele's are for me. workhorse of a guitar

:D

my buddy has one and i pick it up all the time when i'm over. i know what you mean about it being a workhorse though. he's owned it for awhile now, and it has that welcoming, well played feel, you know, like an old acoustic that your grandfather passed down to his kids.

but as far as guitarists go, they're either in the gibson camp or the fender camp. so that would mean we're on course for a never ending debate.   :)

You can't beat a strat, which is what I voted for, but I actually own a flying V not a strat.  It's the epiphone version but has Gibson pickups etc so sounds pretty much as good.

A clean strat sound through a marshall amp though - can't beat it. :nod

I'm just strumming on an Ovation Celebrity these years. Anyone remember Vantage guitars from Canada? I had a beauty more than 25 years ago. I think they went bust

Gotta be a strat for me. Great all round guitar.
From Shankly to Brendan we follow our team, Rome to Istanbul we've all lived the dream. Our journey is long, our goal stays the same, to keep for our children the famous red name.

Les Paul hands down for me.
Although it depends on your style/interests.

The strat is the nicest sounding guitar with a clean tone.  But the single coil pick ups are not powerful enough for hard rock music.

The humbuckers on a Les Paul give it more beef.

Its difficult with me, Its either the Stratocaster or the Ibanez with me, especially the one Joe Satriani owns.

Anyways, I'm going with the strat, my friend had it and I used to play on it, fantastic guitar.

Its been 5 years since I laid my hand on a guitar :(
