is The Pacific any good?

I loved Band of Brother but haven't had the chance to give The Pacific a shot
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Didn't realise that, it was big budget.

Have you delved much into the theories/spoilers on the last episode of Lost? I've stayed away from them.

Can't decide on the 5am thing, it will mean that the wife and kid will interrupt at around 7 which would not be good. Might save it for Monday night.

Stayed well away from spoilers. And I have to watch it at 5am as I have a lot of bar steward mates who are gagging to text me what happens at the time... and we can't have that

Putting it mildly, "Pacific" was a bit of a yawn  :(  .

Major disappoinment.

Ashes to Ashes was basically Life on Mars, but with an bint who cant act and no storyline instead of Sam Tyler and genius stories

The Wire and Band of Brothers are two I'd like to watch if I get the time.

I remember the excitement around the finish of Blakes 7 even though I was only 5!

Twin Peaks was weird as f*ck if I recall. Very original, though, and almost like a precursor to the X-Files, which is my favorite show ever, apart from the dodgy last two seasons of it. In recent times Breaking Bad has to be the best thing I've watched. Dexter is fantastic too; and The Wire - from what I've watched of it so far - is decent, but I found it nowhere near to be as good as what I've heard people to make it out to be. Still fairly excellent, though. Tried watching Supernatural. Came off as a poor man's X-Files so I stopped after the first three episodes. Might have to go back to that one later.

BTW, is the last episode of Lost a double?
