Saw a thing on 4 the other night about the Bond songs, I picked 10 out to see if the vote is similar to theirs....
My own choice would be Nobody Does It Better but for a quintessential Bond Theme it has to be Goldfinger methinks!

I've got the CD full of the mp3's.  I'll try and get it hosted on some free site or something later so you can download them and we can decide good and proper.  Saw the new Bond on Thursday afternoon when it was dead in the cinema by mine.  And yes, I went by myself.  Don't need no lady talking to you when you're watching Bond.

Songs that stick in my head: A View To A Kill by Duran Duran was good, even Goldeneye was a good tune, The Spy Who Loved Me is a classic as is We Have All The Time In The World.  The World Is Not Enough by Garbage (is it) reminds me of my late Grandad believe it or not, the last time I ever saw him when I visited him in his house was one afternoon and some silly afternoon style film review programme was reviewing The World Is Not Enough film and it just always reminds me of him.  What a guy he was as well.  Died in December 1999 aged about 80, had a heart attack on his path going up to his door after being on the piss all day on a Christmas day out with all his buddies.  My auntie had spoke to him that morning and he was complaining about not feeling right before he went out that day, so he knew he was on his way out and went out on the lash anyway.  What a guy!!!!!  Still miss him though.

Goldfinger obviously was a tune, Die Another Day by Madonna was a bag of s*i*e.

Dimonds are Forever and goldfinger are the two that all of the others are probably gonna be compared against and rightly so as they are classics. I was a big fan of Goldeneye by Tina Turner as that had all the elements for a great bond tune but obe of my favourites is 'Live and Let Die' by the old
McCartney-ster. Came on the Bishops Sunday Service yesterday on Radio City in the car and I was well getting into it. :D

The theme from Tomorrow Never Dies by Sheryl Crow (was it??) was a big bag of shite IMO. I actually thought the one over the end credits was better as it was actually called Tomorrow Never Dies; don't know who it was by though.

I'm ashamed to say that 'Living Daylights' by A-HA wasn't bad either.............

HOW SAD AM I??? :(

"Nobody does it better" all day long.

How long before they have a woman playing Bond?

"The name's 'Bond'. 'Jemima Bond'."
