Sell them from the 1st of November until the 5th, then f*ck the lot of them off.

If you're caught firing them after 11.30pm - you get your knackers put in a blender.

That'll sort the feckers out! :D

Lando will you please run for Prime Minister when Blair Shite Project finally fooks off. You've got the perfect no nonsense attitude this country needs.  :p

As for the fireworks BAN THE FOOKING NOISY BASTARDS!  :veryangry I'm sick of being sat trying to watch the telly and then having to go and put on a shit free pair of pants :wwww after one of those big massive atomic bomb things gets set off outside the house. Thats all they are now, which makes the louder bang. Leave 'em to the pros who can actually put together a good display of colourful explosions instead of the numpty from down the street who's only good at blowing his wanking hand off!

Rant Over!

Manhattan has never understood the appeal of hearing REALLY LOUD EXPLOSIONS.

As for bonfires, the only time Manhattan enjoyed a large fire is that occasion where we burned Edward Woodward alive to ensure a plentiful harvest next season.

I worked the big council Bonfire at Roundhay Park in Leeds last night..... They put a firework display that allegedly cost the council 18 grand!!! what a load of sh*t, it lasted 25 minutes and I've seen more sparkle in an episode of X Factor!

Fireworks are nice at organised displays, scallies running around your neighbourhood setting them a light and posting them in your letterbox is not nice, ban them to the public.

I agree.

This time of year is a real nightmare.

They go off here 'til 2 or 3 in the morning and I hate them!

I feel sorry for all the lil animals,..... and the birds in the trees must wonder what on earth is going on.

(If I ruled the world I'd ban them).

Failing that I think public displays only....

and definately banned from Joe public.

If you're going to have them, just go to a display is what I say.

Don't sell them to under age kids.  People have lost limbs and are disfigured because of them.

i dont think there'll be any need for the 'Mythbusters' on this one: unreal  :no

Backside firework prank backfires
A man suffered internal burns when he tried to launch a rocket from his bottom on Bonfire Night.
Paramedics found the 22-year-old bleeding and with Black Cat Thunderbolt Rocket lodged inside him when they attended the scene in Sunderland.

He suffered a scorched colon and is now recovering in hospital, where his condition is described as stable.

A spokesman for the North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) said the prank could have been fatal.

Douglas McDougal, from the NEAS, said: "We received a call stating there was a male who had a firework in his bottom and it was bleeding.

"He sustained fairly significant injuries in the fact that there's huge damage to that particular area."

'Beyond belief'

Mr McDougal added: "Potentially it could have been a fatal incident.

"There's a lot of major blood vessels round that area, so infection would probably be a huge problem for him.

"And also the body naturally produces methane gas, so combine that with the firework and the exploding effect with methane's flammability - it certainly could have been a lot worse than it really was."

A spokesman for the Firework Association described the bizarre prank as "beyond belief".

He said: "We have spent a long time working with the Government to create laws that make fireworks safer and better for the public.

"This incident is very concerning but hopefully an isolated one."

Northumbria Police said they were aware of the incident, which happened in the Dame Dorothy Street area of Monkwearmouth, but are understood not to be carrying out further inquiries.
