Joe don't tell me you have never watched the Godfather trilogy. Well you only need to see 1 and 2. 3 was rubbish.

i know that the author wasn't being a racist. I am just saying that the character who said that line was being racist in the movie.  Although he sort of had reason to be as who would want the mob moving in.  But he didn't want the mob around for moral reasons, he just didn't want the competition.

Rafa must know that getting in a adequate replacement in the 11th hour at a reasonable price is a very hard task and I expect
him to have a deadline where he says: **** RM, now I am going to concentrate on LFC and don't need that kind of ****.

1st of all I can't see RM raise their bid from 24 million to 32 million
and besides Rm needs to sell players to be able to afford new ones.

And how easy is that gonna be?
Rm has no brain whatsoever since everyone knows they are desparate to get rid and never want to pay what RM wants for their players.
They seem to have no clue that when you are desparate to sell and everyone knows you are desparate the price drops...
alot.
And then there is the problem with wages...
Every player RM wants to get rid of will refuse deals that will make them earn less in their new club.

This will mean RM will be hard pressed to sell anyone and
with no new funds Xabi will stay.

I don't give a **** if RM is his prefered desination or that he would be happy there.

He has himself said he will not be unhappy staying and will not hand in a transfer request= no pressure whatsoever for Rafa
to sell.

It is RM who will be feeling the pressure of not thinking, or signing spanish players and only improve one part of the team.

I dream we will face them in the CL next season.
We have better defense, better midfield. Who cares about their attacking play when we will have the ball all the time?

Are you taking the :censored:? How can a film depicting a character as racist be called racist, in that case there must be a hell of a lot of films which you object to.

Never said that the movie was racist, never said I had a problem with racism in movies. Its actually important for movies to have racism. especially if the setting was in the 50s and 60s.

All I was saying was that in the context of the movie, the character speaking the quote used in the article was being a racist. And I am not sure if there is a place in journalism for quotes that include referring to a "kind of people" with "oily hair"
