How do you rate a keeper?

The latest arguement in work is Grobbelaar or Southall, personal opinions aside, "how do you rate a keeper". Brucie certainly wins in terms of trophies and medals but it some how doesnt seem enuff. What i need is a ratio of games played to goals conceeded. But again a goal isnt just conceeded by the keeper but by the defense and to some degree by the midfielders. Was Optimax Stats in use from 81 to 94?
