Yes, liked what I saw of Ward in the league cup. Maybe worth giving him a go

Agreed. One of us should email Klopp and give him the instruction  :D

We should have got 3 points easily tonight, they had 4-5 regulars missing.
Poor finishing cost us again even Studge couldn't friggin score, his chance was handed on a plate perfectly set up for him.

We should have won but looking at things holistically a draw is not the end of the world. I'm still confident we will progress to the next stage.

I fear this playing Karius is Klopp trying to prove he hasn't bought a lemon in Karius. Need's to put his ego aside and do whats  best for the team now

Firminho is" average "at best and disappears in matches. He did versus Leicester, and he did today. Most worrying so far this season is we haven't got a proper goal scorer to put away our chances. This will ultimately cost us I fear.

We should have gone for Lacazette imagine him uptop. I would have preferred us splashing 50mill on Lacazette rather than 40 on Ox.

Btw can't believe im saying it but I thought Hendo was superb tonight..It will take some time to recover from the Bobby horror show..Salah is also getting on my nerves he should be much more clinical and alert in front of the goal..And Daniel oh my..

Good grief, when you realise Arsenal got Lacazette for £50m, and we paid a huge chunk of that fee for them by taking Ox of their hands, it does make you contemplate

Disappointing not to get the win especially seeing as we dominated them so much. We had the chances but just not the quality on the night to make a difference.
2 points now from this group when it should have been 6.

Story of our season mate. We could've been just a point or two off the top of the prem aswel.

We should still progress, looking at remaining fixtures. Only sevilla away looks tricky. If we don't. Progress... Then panic :)

You won't win even against Crawley Town if you do that mate. I mean if you miss ALL your chances (which is what we did) it's practically physically impossible to win, regardless of where you're playing.

Russia or no Russia, we should have won this game, not just because of the fact that they're an average team that's even missing half of their first teamers, but because they were neither defending nor attacking particularly well but still managed to score and end up winning a point at the end. It happens to every top team but for us it seems like it's happening on regular basis now.

We are going through a rocky spell there's no 2 ways about it, the only thing I would say though is generally we are playing quite well, we have probably been the better side in every game we've played this season (including v City when we had 11 men).
When things finally do click I can see us giving a few teams a proper hiding, we could have scored 6 tonight quite easily and we weren't even firing on all cylinders. When those chances start going in we'll be running up cricket scores.
We need to cut out the individual mistakes though, especially at the back, their goal tonight was embaressing. I would have saved that myself.

Did not watch the game...all I know is we should have picked up an extra 2 points. At the end of the day, (hoped not but) this slip up might prove very costly indeed

When I suggested a 25+ goals strikers during the off season some were only too quick to shoot back and said we don't need one as we have Firmino as a false 9 and have goals written all over this team. Now guessed what a £60M investment will get you? How many extra points we would have already picked up this early in the season with a goal specialist?

I understand that all great managers will steadfastly believe in their ways and are stubborn by trait...but not dealing with your glaring weakness(es), not having a Plan B and not investing in talents will only belong to the foolish
