Liverpool Football Club - Games

These lot are fighting survival and will aim to get something. They've got Newcastle after us so things don't get much easier.

Let's continue our winning streak with another win, all we could do is keep winning and hope for the best.

You know it hasn’t been a great season, but life could be worse my dad could’ve supported Everton or Arsenal !! Talk about a perennial shower of sh1t !!

Leicester aren’t going to make our lives, particularly easy tonight. They’ve had an absolutely shocking season and will be doing everything possible to get the three points to help them towards survival. Mind you we still have aspirations of a CL place and that will give us the edge we need.

It seems that we've had 'must win' games all season but tonight is another one! Don't care how we do it, just need to win, any less is the immediate end to our CL dreams.
Good luck Reds!

We're coming off 6 wins in a row and 2 clean sheets in a row so confidence should be high. We've had 8 days gap since the last game so the players should be feeling fresh and Klopp would have had time to fine tune our new tactics on the training field. 4 day gap before we play again and then a week before our final game of the season. So it's just best team out for the rest of the season. I'd expect this:

                           Alisson

Trent          Konate          van Djik          Robbo

      Hendo          Fabinho          Jones

         Salah          Gakpo          Diaz

Sub: Nunez, Jota, Carvalho, Elliott, Milner, Matip, Gomez, Tsimikas, Kelleher

Even if we don't get top 4 we want to finish this season strongly and get 5th and hope that this form will carry on to next season.

Strange there's no Nunez...
Arthur on the bench? Surely he'll get a splinter in his ar$e and get carried down the tunnel

Arthur to come off the bench and clinch it lol

Strong performance ao far. Leicester came straight at us for the first 15 muns, but we weathered the storm and hit them with 2 good team goals.

Let's hope we can get more and close our goal difference with Newcastle (just in case)

A hattrick for Curtis Jones? Surely not...

Jones getting better and better with every game. Good goals by him and nice assists from Salah too. I feel Gakpo (and Diaz but he can be forgiven) has been poor today though. Should have definitely made it 3-0, we might need that goal difference too.

Curtis Jones has transformed the same way that Hendo became a true leader and key first team player a few years ago. Well done Curtis.

Poor first 20 minutes and then my gawd we came to life. All the goals were excellent but there was a common denominator - Mo had an assist in all of them !! Mo should have scored as well, it was certainly an easier opportunity than two of his assists - two absolutely brilliant balls and Jonesee boy made the very best of them. Trent in his new position is looking exceptional and truly deserved his outstanding goal. Great end to the season. I just hope it isn’t all too late. Mind you Thursday night football would be a consolation given our league position not that long ago.
