Liverpool Football Club - Games

17:45 Ko, few hours earlier than usual. So we beging our europa adventure, expecting Klopp to field a mixture. I'd definitely give Grav a start and also Endo. Nunez for me should be starting in main xi, if Klopp don't start him against Westham he'll then definitely feature against these lot.

I think Jurgen will go fairly strong but personally my starting point would be to put together a team from the players who won’t start against West Ham on Sunday and if it feels too weak add some first teamers in. For West Ham I think the team will be Alisson, Trent, Robertson, Konate, van Djik, Mac Allister, Jones, Szoboszlai, Salah, Diaz, and Nunez.

With Bradley injured, Thiago probably not ready to be involved, and Bajcetic being treated very carefully after his stress injury, I’d be happy with the following starting 11 and a strong bench. You can name 12 on the bench and use 5 of them so plenty of chance to change the game. I'm guessing Trent will be left at home to fully recover for West Ham.

This staring 11 includes half of the outfield players who started against Wolves. But we'd have Tsimikas inverting like he did in pre-season and Gomez tucking in next to Matip.

                           Kelleher

Gomez          Matip          Quansah          Tsimikas

            Elliott          Endo          Gravenberch

             Doak          Gakpo          Jota

Subs: Alisson, Robertson, Konate, van Djik, Bajcetic, Mac Allister, Jones, Szoboszlai, Clark, Salah, Diaz, Nunez

You’d like to think our second string would have too much for these.
Kelleher, Gomez, Matip, Quansah, Tsimkas, Gravenberch, Bajcetic, Elliott, Doak, Jota, Gakpo

Some of our lads have been playing non stop for both club and country and unless they get injured they will keep playing non stop so we should use any opportunity we can to rest our main boys.

We're away from home but we should be beating these with any team we field. I like Eagle's team, I'd go for that.

Over confidence leads to a fall. All for playing a few reserves but once you've got the early game points in the bag is the time to experiment, not from the off.

An hour before K.O usually. Might be announced shortly before that though.

Tend to agree with Reg's comment. Don't know anything about LASK but I wouldn't take anything for granted.

I do like Eagles choice of starters but I'd stick Nunez in from the start, scare the Sh*t out of LASK and imo the fella could do with a bit more finishing practice  :)

Liverpool team news - 11 changes

Liverpool: Kelleher, Bajcetic, van Dijk, Konate, Tsimikas, Elliott, Gravenberch, Endo, Doak, Nunez, Diaz.

Subs: Alisson, Gomez, Szoboszlai, Mac Allister, Salah, Jones, Gakpo, Jota, Robertson, Matip, Jaros, Quansah.

That's got to be the tastiest looking bench ever!  :grinning:

Missed first half but from what I'm hearing we've been dreadful.
