AFTER THE HUGE INVESTMENT THE CLUB HAS MADE IN THE ACADAMY WHERE IS ALL THE RICH NEW TALENT AND WHEN IS THE NEXT GERRARD COMING? OR ARE THEY, IT HURTS WHEN I SEE THEM BRINGING THROUGH PLAYERS LIKE OSHEA WHOM I BELIEVE WILL BE WORLD CLASS VERY SOON.

i really thought Mellor would break thru this year and give us options against the lesser teams in the league cup and in europe! i agree he'll get valuable experience playing week in week out for West Ham but if he started scoring for us when he got his chance he'd be hard to leave out (especially if Emille went thru a goal drought!). . .thats how Owen & Fowler broke thru! !

you say that the likes of Owen and Fowler and Gwerrard all came through the academy but you also have likes of Mellor, Patrridge and Welsh who look to all be good prosoects for the future

We have a promising future as one of houlliers only good points was helping that academy ...lets hope it serves liverpool football club well ey
