There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

supporting rafa and gettin behind the team on a pc means very little, unless you go the game you have zero impact imho

really enjoyed the crowd gettin behind the team was nice to have it back, media and the antis wont get rafa the sack results will its just uncomfortable to watch and read the media and opposing fans take the :censored:

Unfortunately that's all that many of us can do. For me, I can't afford to a) buy a season ticket, 'cos b) I don't live nearby, meaning c) it'll cost a whack load of dosh on flights, hotels, tickets (assuming I can find a person to sell me a ticket without trying to charge £150 like some kunt did one time !)...

the media are terrible but I'm telling ya most on here are exactly the same and most won't watch the game they will just say what they pretend to see through the papers.

"we are all hurt", well duh, but the point is opinion is divided as to the best way forward so pointing it out achieves diddly. Just another member standing on that f in soapbox with another "hey, listen to my opinion" thread (because people know if they post it in an existing thread it will disappear among the multitude of arguments unread by most)

Nobody has been carded for disagreeing with the manager or being anti rafa.

Cards have been issued for the inappropriate way they have displayed their feelings, not heeding warnings, verbal abuse to moderators etc.

It appears that the members who show such a vehement dislike of Rafa Benitez seem to be the most abusive via PM, even on receipt of 1 card....It is the tirade of abuse in the PM's that has resulted in a few getting a lengthy ban.

It could also be swamped by pages of useless statistics that clog up the threads and prove some people have f..k else to do in their lives. :;):

burn

but yeah, we need threads where we can say how much we love things, but the thread that was about sacking the gaffer should have been kept open, as just as many pro's were t!ts on that thread as antis.... so there are double standards... but this is a liverpool site, so there should be.

And we can always open another negative thread, but I dont want negativity at the moment, we're not playing this weekend, so lets smile and dance and sing and skip and play and be happy

I agree the thread turned into a pro - anti verbal war...so the the thread was closed...

There is nothing stopping anyone from opening another sack the manager if you want too thread .....

A rallying call thread is just that, not pro rafa...of course if someone had replied in that thread that they don't want to give Liverpool any support then thats fine;but it wasn't a thread created for pro/anti Benitez feelings.

I thought Ciggy's opening post to this thread was great.  And while I definitely find myself on the opposite side of the managerial debate from her, I can agree in alot of areas.

But never for a second would I ever find satisfaction in the team either losing or getting a "bad" draw.

Priorities:

1. Results on the pitch
2. How it happened
3. Are there any injuries
4. Who's next and can we beat them

487.Will the result affect my standing on an internet forum

I'm a fan of LFC, I'm a fan of the players that are on the pitch.  If I think the man on the sideline has done a poor job, I think I should be able to say so.  Just like everyone does when a player has a shocker.

If people would like to wrap Rafa into some sort of security blanket and absolve him of any wrongdoings, because that isn't showing support in the LFC way, well, then how can anyone have a moan over the performance of any single player?

Anyway, I'm about to kick over the TV (can't put a boot into it anymore, these damn flatscreens) every time I've watch our team lose this season, and I can honestly say, I've not thought there was a silver lining in any of those loses in regards to the manager's position.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

Thing is that one thing i am sure of is if everyone from this forum went to the spurs game .I know 95% of us would been screaming and shouting the team and manager on. Yes we've got the odd whopper who doesn't know any better ,because there not educated but the rest of us only want the same thing which is the best for LFC . So really it's all posturing and making a stand (one way or the other)on the internet ,when you know full well in your heart of heart you would be supporting the team and manager just like the rest of us. Which imo is right Rossi lar.
