Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby RedSi35 » Sat Feb 11, 2012 10:25 pm

So...............our name is mud, we are the scum of the earth, and this once great bastion of english football is becoming a bit of a farce.

I really dont give a :censored: anymore who is right and who is wrong, i care more for the name of the club than the individuals involved. The media is dragging our :censored: through the mud on a daily basis for the last few years.

How do we get the respect back?

When did the media ever respect us?

seriously when? during Houllier and Rafa's reign we still got slated, only when #1 media lover Roy Hodgson was made as our manager Liverpool FC made sense to the FA and the media

The major problem is we have a player who is completely alien to our culture. He cant speak a word of English, he doesnt know how to conduct himself here.

Its like trying to tame a wild animal. Any one of us would know that refusing a handshake would unleash a barrage of condemnation. He clearly is oblivious of whats deemed to be the right behaviour here. For South Americans, England is one of the hardest countries in Europe to adapt to. I dont think anyone at the club can control him. It would need years of him living here, learning the language, learning how to conduct himself (especially under the media glare).

I agree with dundreamin.....
Baton down the hatches because the salivating media want to feast on the carcass of LFC but we will not let it happen....total media shut out except for LFCtv, any news from Anfield comes through our own TV channel...with the CUP FINAL coming up any player interviews will be done with the local newspapers.....hopefully the same for the FA cup and any further rounds right upto the Final.....no access to liverpool players for the media...we have our own TV channel lets use it for us... :censored: the rest off  :veryangry

KK HAS to shut up and stop pouring petrol on the fire
He wants them all to see the error of their ways and how unfair theyre being. It aint gunna happen.
He has to accept that they are two faced hypocritical co'cksuckers and the less we have to do with them the better

The best thing we can do as a club is to just do our talking on the pitch. Problem is that isn't even going to plan so the situation is fast becoming a joke. Hopefully the Carling Cup final will take some of the heat of us.

where do we go from here?

We stick Glen Johnson at Right Midfield, as his performances are CRYING OUT for him to be right midfield. Kuyt is AWFUL as right Midifled. Never beats his man, and has NO PACE what so ever. Stick Martin Kelly right back, and give him a decent run. Hes more than capable, and he gets forward and puts his crosses in.

Kenny must play his strongest team when they're available...... Why he continues to have faith in the "Only way is Essex Boy" Henderson, I do not know. He offers NOTHING!! Spearing was out of his depth today, but he has potential. Todays game was a game too big for him.  Adam should be regular first team.

Downing? Still 0 Prem Goals, 0 prem assists. That says it all for him......

pretty much agree with this.
except for spearing showing potential.i dont think he will ever improve to the level that we need of him.
he could be a decent player for someone like fulham or wolves but not for liverpool.

we need to be setting our sights on better players as part of the reason we cant win is because of too much mediocrity within the squad.
it kills me because the ethos of this club was always to win and expect nothing but the best.we always had great managers and wonderful players throughout the years.average players came here and excelled because they knew that anything less wasnt acceptable by our standards.
now we even fail to strike fear into bottom of the table sides who not to long ago dreaded the thought of coming to anfield.
sometimes i wish moores had half a brain and the balls to take us forward when we needed to rather than offload the club.
kenny is a legend and its magnificent to see him lead the team on the pitch but unfortunately football has changed a lot over the last 20 years and more importantly so have we.
his tactics havent and neither has his savvy in the transfer market and with investment people at the helm of the club he might not get the time or any more of their cash to do it.
he needs to turn this around and quickly as i expect their will be major changes in the summer and if he cant turn us around then he might be one of them.

competely agree. Kenny is not helping the situation at all

I've been down in the dumps at work today, I didn't know how much I loved this football club til things go wrong, it hurts, sh!tloads

I genuinely don't know where we go with this, I'm a little lost on it if I'm honest  :D
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Yes. We stick together as a club. Wether you agree or don't agree with things that have happened is your choice, but at the end of the day the club is what matters. I will do as I always have done and stick with my team. That includes KK, Saurez and the rest.
