  yeah. we move on, but its very sad. i thought he was different. I thought he got us, well more than got us, i thout he was one of us. The armband, the way he talked. Never thought he'd move within the prem.

i know he wanted trophies, but new owners this window and suarez as his new partner things wee finally moving forward.

He was an adopted scouser.

and thats pretty much the highest compliment I can pay an LFC player

He settled down a bit and asked if I could get him a Gerrard shirt.  We went ahead and ordered him one.

Done and dusted.  Fack off Nando, Thanks for making us believe you.  Your true charcter has been revealed.

Not sure about having an ex-londoner in Scales (only at Anfield for 2 years) in the LFCTV studio tonight, particularly when he said he thinks Torres will get his best form back at Chelski. Why was Brian Reade only on by phone? He should have been in the studio - the producer should be sacked!

Here are just some of the forward’s goalscoring achievements at Liverpool.

- The fastest player to reach 50 goals in the Premier League (50 goals in 72 games).
- Highest scoring foreign player in a debut season in the history of the Premier League (24 goals in 2007/08).
- Highest scoring foreign player for Liverpool and also the scorer of the Reds 1000th goal.
- The only player to score in eight consecutive league games at Anfield

  a sad time losing such a player

Other "traitors", eg Owen at least had the decency when he left us to move to another league. Torres' decision to move to another Premiership side shows imo the guy despite the arm band he flashed NEVER had LFC in his heart.

Top of the shop player but forgive me if I now wish he breaks a f'ucking leg and never plays again, I've never felt so let down.

I think that is what is getting to us all. If he left to go back to spain then ok, you could argue he was fed up with getting injuries due to the physical nature of the english game. But the fact he has joined those plastic summy chavs leaves a really nasty taste.

:nod

Hes a dirty stinking money grabbing kunt.

it's almost like his funeral in here :D

he didnt want to be here everyone. In our hearts we knew that but the way he which he has handled this is completely disrespectful. I'd rather see where we are without him now, regardless of how far we could have gone with him.

Fernando - you are not worthy of the shirt!

we have 2 strikers that are totally different in style but the one thing they will have in common is they will both show a lot of agression and hard work, one thing sadly missing from the Torres this season
