Of course.  Any person would do it...
Chelsea is a top job and Torres a top player.

Houllier still loves Liverpool but im sure he'd still take some of our players if he could.  They have to try to do the best in their own careers as well.

No less than £50 Mill, As much as I hate to see him go.

Its unfortunate that the club was going through a completely f'u'cked up stage when Torres came. Liverpool should of had a decent strike partner long ago for Torres. Its a bit late now trying to desperatly land a gamble to take the onus of El Nino. The club never fullfilled its promise to Fernando, so I can totally understand him wanting to be free. As long as the Manc dont come in with an 11th hour snitch. Can you just imagine the Manc winning their 19th title with Nando in their team. Nightmare!

But no less than £50 mill. 'P'issed off with Liverppol getting screwed over in the transfer market with buying and selling players.

One stipulation though, Torres cant be allowed to play against Liverpool in their upcoming fixture at the bridge. Would be heartbreaking to see him treat Skrtel like Vidic.

bbc reported that Livepool would be powerless if a bid of 50mil was put in for Torres.

again got to ask about the contract thng, it would be strange for the bc to say something like that if they did not think it was true.
and theres a lot of ex liverpool players there that they can ask about it and some ofthem are very very close to the goings on at the club.

Its only a matter of time before Man City, Real Madrid and Barcelona join the bidding war. If Chelsea think they can get a cut down price, their sadly mistaken.

Let the bidding commence. Lets start at say......£50 mill....do I have £51 mill?

KILL YOURSELVES BIDDING......GIVE US YOUR F'U'CKIN MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!

No matter what happens, Kenny will get it right.....

I'll put thas link up again for anybody that missed it the last two times I posted it, but if the club says he's not for sale then I think we should give them them the benifit of the doubt. I know in the past anything was possible with sh1t (understatement of the century) owners and a :censored: manager but with Kenny Dalglish and his no bullsh1t policy then we should believe what they have to say until they break our trust.

Does anyone honestly believe that we would let one of the best strikers in the world, if not the best, go to one of our premiership rivals?? Especially now that we are debt free and therefore dont need the money!!

Its been a quiet transfer window so the :censored: in the media are trying to sell more papers by reporting this absoloute horse b*ll*cks. What better way than to pick on one of their favourite targets which every other club in the country loves to see in trouble.

Here it is again for anyone who missed it "Torres is not for sale"

Anyone who thinks that we would actuly sell Fernando to Chelsea needs to get their head examined. Today we should be looking forward to getting a world class striker in (hopefuly) Not worrying about loosing the only proper striker we have at the club.

Ballague is employed by Sky, and this smells of Sky trying to create a story....God knows they have run with nothing else all day so far!!

In what has been a quiet window, and at a time when they have just suffered a sexist scandal and been all over the news themselves, I would not be surprised if Ballague was asked to fan the flames of this rumour, and give them something to talk about.

Had Roy been here I would have been petrified right now, but I feel quite secure with Kenny here.

No matter how much they bid, we don't have time to spend it now, and so it would be pointless.  It would leave us without any attacking players until the summer.  ???

Sky are reporting a bid last week for £28m plus a player, and now £35m.

There is no buyout clause in his contract, I don't see Chelsea being that far ahead of us right now, with an old squad in major need of an overhaul, so Torres would be unwise to go there.

What we need, quickly, is a definitive statement from player and club saying this is all irrelevant and LFC are focussed on adding to the squad and a strong finish to the season.

Either that, or we sign Suarez today, and tell Chelsea we are not a selling club, and we're going to chase them all the way for 4th place!!
