Finnan is very average, there is no doubt he has improved alot this season, but as one of you lot said £8m would have been money well spent!!!

Do you lot even go the games? Finnan isn't what Liverpool want, he can fill a void for the time being as other areas need filling first. He isn't brilliant or anything, he can't even tackle for once, his sh its out of 50-50's.

I'll say it again, he has improved, but he still isn't good enough

Finnan has improved this season. His first season was a bit of a disaster but prior to coming to us he was voted best right back in the Premiership. He ins now getting back to that level.

He is a proven Premiership and International player and to call him average is rubbish. Who in the premiership would you swap him for?

Listen mate, I've watched Finnan week in and week out, I've seen him back out of challenges in every game. All I was saying is he defiantely isn't worth the quoted £8m someone mentioned or is he good eonough for Liverpool which he aint.

He will do for the time being.

Who would I replace him with? I'd move Carragher back there and buy a bigger centre half to replace him. Don't get me wrong Carragher has been brilliant and hasn't put a foot wrong, but there is better around and Carragher is much better than Finnan.

In my earlier post I said Finnan will do for the time being, he has improved etc etc etc, he ISN'T class the way all u lot have been blowing his trumpet.

You obviously havent read Carragher's recent interview in which he states that he is a centre back not a right back.

Finnan was excellent again for Ireland last night.

So apart from taking our best centre and putting him at right back, where he prefers not to play, who else would you replace Finnan with.

When we ask ourselves honest questions like how many of our players would get into the top teams, I believe that Finnan is one of the few.

I'm sitting here in Uni with friends and they are is disbelief! Finnan is AVERAGE, I said it, a few others have, and every person I know who actually goes the game and watches the team also will agree with me.

I never said Carragher SHOULD be moved to right back, I used it as an example becuase Carragher is better than Finnan. In an ideal situation Finnan wouldn't be playing for Liverpool so that I wouldn't have to cringe everytime he backs out of a 50-50!

I pay taxes too, when I get taxed in my part time job. What are you doing at the moment, prob sitting on your ****** u dolite.

As i've said time and time again Finnan will do for the meantime, we need to improve elsewhere.

PS got my exam results back today for my first semester, averaged out 75% which works out at a 1st class degree, 2nd in my class out of 80 odd people

So swivle on it, u old dolite

Please accept my genuine congratulations on your results. I do hope you keep it up.

However could I suggest that you might consider studying politics. You would be perfect for it as you never give a straight answer to a straight question. Who would you replace Finnan with?

Dont say Carragher!. Who would you bring in or promote?

I'd rather not take you advice thanks. But here is my straight answer, we don't have alot of money to spend, we need to improve elsewhere so i'd promote Jon Ostemobor as he impressed me alot more than Finnan ever has, end of.

I'm studying Computer & Multimedia Systems, hence the reason im mostly online, in between questions I get bored and have a little browse on the net
