I am guessing it will be a quick out of court settlement to make it go away quickly

“I still can’t believe that they all walked free – that they effectively got away with beating me up.”

Five of Gerrard’s friends admitted affray and another pleaded guilty to threatening behaviour in a fight.

They were handed sentences of 18 weeks’ imprisonment, suspended for 12 months, and were also ordered to perform 150 hours of unpaid work.

???

Clearly its not justice for this manc tw*t unless he gets a new moter out of it

He may get money from those who were found guilty but he's taking on a big risk going after Gerrard. The DJ's court costs will only be paid for if he wins the case. He'll have a decent lawyer against a multi-million pound lawyer for Stevie. The DJ could end up losing anything he gains from the others in having to pay for Stevie's legal counsel ???

Lets face it 1.Steven did hit him and got away with it.
2.This whole thing is gonna take Stevens mind of football which can't be good thing.
3.This is not good press for the club as a whole it dragging on !

I think it be best just toss the scabby git 50k out of court and say take it and run or get nothing.Get him to sign a non Disclosure agreement so he can't speak about it to any one and let Steven focus on his football.

I am not big on law so , but is this possible ?
If so surely just sweeping this under a rock is best wouldn't you all say ?  :glare:
