I don't think Rafa took very seriously the pundits or the fans.

It's normal these things happen, it's like Spain but in a more little scale (when it comes to angry fans and fúckwittery talked). The pundits talk their cráp, the fans buy it, so no wonder that if you put together in a table pundits and Rafa and on front of them football fans this happens. It's normal.

I think Rafa has made us progress, I think he's getting Liverpool closer to win the league, and thankfully he wasn't sacked or changed to put a Klinsmann. I have more hopes now of not having to wait another 19 years. If it was for some pundits and fans, he should have been sacked yesteryear for his awful seasons and lack of progress.

This is football. It's normal. I know English clubs and Liverpool aren't used to these behaviours, but in a more globalised world, you'll have a more globalised football. And even if you'll always have a core of loyal supporters, you'll also have your deal of world class bandwagon supporters when you're close to win it again. It's the price to pay for being  succesful.

Maybe in the future Rafa should tell SS to :censored: off for after match interviews. Let Sammy handle them and he can only talk to the BBC.

Comes with the job,he's big enough to take it!
As for a fan saying Lucas is cr@p,well I dont see that as out of order because its true.
And saying he should not have sold Crouch?Well thats someones opinion whether right or wrong!

Not exactly a big deal!

I know what you are saying, he probably don't give a toss. But the guy went there in his own time in aid of a charity and he doesn't need tw*ts like that on his back.

That people were not well-informed as I can see (included Thommo). Rafa DIDN´T sell Crouch. He offered a new contrat to him, but Crouch LEFT cause he didn´t accept to be a substitute of Torres. As simple as that. Who can blame Rafa to choose Torres rather than Crouch???
About keane, everybody knows that Parry was his defender while Rafa prefered to spend the money on Gareth Barry.

Rafa is indeed a big man and can take the hassle. But not when he is going out of his way to support raising monies for several charitable causes. I can tell what rafa thought about it. That night he see the bad side of "supporters". Shameful. The questions should have been put on hold for football events not charitable ones.

When was the actual dinner? Whenever it was we would have been doign well in the league still so its even more baffling they would have a pop at him. I know hes a big lad and can handle himself but do all managers get this sometimes? (btw thats an actual question I would like to know)

Of course they do mate!
Football managers are the most criticised people in the country probably after politicians!Every decision they make is scrutinised by fans, pundits, papers etc.
I really really do not see a big deal here.FFS he went to a dinner and a few people voiced their opinions....he can take it!

Whenever Rafa has spoken of the fans he has always spoken of them in the highest regard. I hope this incident wont have done anything to taint that view of his.
