I don't think Rafa took very seriously the pundits or the fans.
It's normal these things happen, it's like Spain but in a more little scale (when it comes to angry fans and fúckwittery talked). The pundits talk their cráp, the fans buy it, so no wonder that if you put together in a table pundits and Rafa and on front of them football fans this happens. It's normal.
I think Rafa has made us progress, I think he's getting Liverpool closer to win the league, and thankfully he wasn't sacked or changed to put a Klinsmann. I have more hopes now of not having to wait another 19 years. If it was for some pundits and fans, he should have been sacked yesteryear for his awful seasons and lack of progress.
This is football. It's normal. I know English clubs and Liverpool aren't used to these behaviours, but in a more globalised world, you'll have a more globalised football. And even if you'll always have a core of loyal supporters, you'll also have your deal of world class bandwagon supporters when you're close to win it again. It's the price to pay for being succesful.
