My doughts about Garcia are shared by many in the main stand at every home game also by SG on the pitch going by the amount of bollockings he gives him for his slack play

I dont see SG doing this to any other player!

says it all m8

Nah mate I wasn't singling you out, I agree that Garcia had a poor game but it's cos the lad just can't play on the right which underlines the issue that we need a RW desperatly  :(

personally, i'd give one of these new youngsters a chance on the RM.  Haven't we got 2 new 17-18 yr old right wingers on our books now?  What have we to lose if we give them a chance?  I mean, they arn't going to play any worse than Garcia is on the right, are they?

The best solution we have available for right wing in my opinion is Pongolle. I think he needs a couple of more reserve games and substitute appearances under his belt after being sidelined before starting.

Crouch has been injured for almost a month so he's reaction to crosses,passes,etc.. isn't going to be perfect after one appearance. I've seen him play for Soton and as good as he was in the air he was equally good on the ground. There's more to him than his height. He's a pest to defend against, Carragher admitted that and I'm sure many other Premiership defenders have as well.

Dear Paul C and Zarababe.. Being optimistic is different from being a bilnd. Even if Rafa makes mistakes. We comment on it. Rafa has to take it. Likewise ourselves. If I make a wrong comment I will take you **** talk. But dont ever say  "when we start playing well they will forgete all this and start kissin ar5e again and talking about how good a manager Rafa is, how good our strikers are, etc" .

Post Mortem to find out the cause of our failure to earn 3 points. If you say that we performed well with Spurs Game. You are definately wrong. We have done better. Why not against Spurs that is the question Why not in Primiership games. What are we lacking. Are we going to be hiding behind the "unlucky" reason.?

If that is so than what is the diference with What Wenger said against us. That we were lucky to be in the Champions League.

If the players are tired. That's okay. A reason that is best suited in view of the iternational games.

Nevertheless, I would still say that we did not play well against Spurs. Chelsea scored 2-0 against them. If we are satisfied with these level performance. Dont bother looking at Chelsea or MU for that matter.
Start swallowing what Morinhoe said against us that in 10 years he will win more trophies that what Liv. had. Steven Gerrard had made the biggest mistake in his life by not joining Chelsea.

We have to always look for improvement. Anyway I say these not because a doubt Liv. but because I am too optimistic that LIv can win the primiership even this year if we really want it and work for it as there is still time for it.

Of course we kept clean sheet. But Cleen sheet alone doesn't assure us a place in the next year's Championship place

if we are not conceeding we are not losing.

it was a bit of a damp squib against spurs.....true, but lets not forget that chelsea were wholly lucky against little Wigan!!, wait until this weekend for the great match winner against Manure.

footy is up and down, rough with the smooth. it is that which makes football special. Rafa has the measure of the european game, and i feel he will with the english game, but it may take longer. I believe that LFC will become the best counter attacking team in the premiership this season, and will play some sexy football, but it wont happen for a few more weeks i feel.

its back to basics - dont concede then dont lose ------easy, then work on scoring more etc

if im wrong, then so be it, it is only my most humble opinion

Well said Judge

Give it time, weve waited so long for a class manager who will put together a truly great side who can lift the prem title.

Hes made mistakes from time to time and will no dought make others, but so have all the other great managers weve had over many years- thats life

One FACT Im sure of though is that we are stronger this term and come next season we will be even stronger

We all remember the Houlier days when you could count on one hand the amount of good games we played over 2 seasons

Since Rafa arrived me and the lads are once again really enjoying going to the game- its nice to enjoy the drive home looking forward to the next game

Long may Rafa Reign

What caused this ?

Is Spurs a better team than us

Forgive me as I have not watched the game or gone through all the posts on this thread.

I would say yes, Spurs are a better team ATM atlease. They look a very serious and dangerous side. Iv said it all along that Spurs are the team to watch this season and with Arsenal fading away I feel they can easily clinch 3rd spot.

Spurs improvement is bad news for Liverpool - why?

Well because a top 4 spot looks more unlikely this season than it was last. Last season you finished 5th as Everton pulled the rabbit outa the hat. This season there are more Evertons - Charlton, Bolton, Newcastle (they can be if they start winning). I havent mentioned Spurs because I believe they are above these 3. I think they can challenge for 3rd spot and I think they can achieve it. But lets say they dont, its Arsenal, Spurs, Charlton, Bolton, Newcastle and Liverpool fighting for 3rd and 4th spot.

Based on what I have seen so far I can say Spurs will easily take 1 of those 2 spots. Which means You have to fight it out with Arsenal, Bolton, Charlton and any other last min surprise team out there. Thats a tough task if you ask me. 5 teams for the 4th spot, all want CL football.

I think another 5 games will set the basis for the pyramid to develope on. 10 games down we should have a fair clue on who the contenders are for the top 4 spots. I would imagine Us and Manu are in there fore sure. I would also expect Spurs to grab one. So its the rest for the last spot in the top 4.

This is an interesting season. It would be even more interesting if Newcastle were playing to potential, if Everton looked atlseast 70% of what they did last season and if Liverpool could use the right formation with the right players (i dont agree with Rafa this season)

Chelsea Forever

interesting thoughts. however, spurs in the past has had better teams out than this one, when competition was stronger, and they still didnt manage it, so i fear they will do the same, much like charlton will fade away again.

did you also now you didnt have to sign your sig after each long post you do, we are aware who wrote it you know  :wwww
