Antonio Nunez will make his long awaited Liverpool debut when he lines up for the reserves in Thursday night's match with Leeds United at Wakefield and Emley.
Nunez will wear the famous Liverpool number seven jersey as he returns from a knee injury to play for the reserves.

Darren Potter, John Welsh and Richie Partridge are the other best known players in Hughie McAuleuy's team and Paul Harrison is again preferred to Patrice Luzi in goal.

The match kicks-off at 7pm at Belle Vue, home of Wakefield and Emley. A full match report will be online after the match and extended visual highlights available Friday lunchtime.

...................

Good news and all but he will have to wait two more weeks before he starts.

Damm, just driven past there, I could have nipped in and given you all a de-brief on Nunez.

Hope he plays ok and avoids injuries - the pitch there is fit for growing cabbages!
