Some may have forgotten the original request and some may not have seen it, so as a reminder.

When you're responding to a post you may want to include some reference to posts that have gone before BUT do you really need to include 4-5-6-7 previous references ?

It's usually down to a couple of members having a ding dong, throwing sh'ite backwards and forwards or just a member who can't be ar'sed to edit quotes and doesn't give a sh'it about the spam their shovelling on with their responses.

Mods will have no hesitation in editing such posts and in the more extreme circumstances deleting a post completely.

Persistent offenders will be carded.

So do us ALL a favour lads 'cause it's f'ucking tiresome, try and limit the number of quotes you reference

Thanx

PS.
As a guideline, generally speaking 3-4 quotes is fine, 5 is tolerable depending on content, beyond that the post is likely to be edited or even deleted.

In recent weeks we've seen an increase in the use of excessive multi quote posts

Most members have shown good self moderation on this issue, the "bump" is a reminder for those few that haven't.

Personally I'm getting a bit tired of cleaning up after those few members that flood the forum with repeated quotes.

A final request to those "few".

Clean up your contribution before you find your ability to contribute removed.

Thanx and happy new year.
