We are without Finnan which is a dissapointment , hope Raven gets a chance we havent got much cover for this position.
Incidently Morientes has scored on every debut he has made, which is great news.
We really need to win this one, we need teams to start fearing us again as they did in the 70s and 80s we have to start making anfield a fortress again.
3 points in much needed today more than ever in probably one of the biggest home games this season.
I cant wait for this one Im really looking forward to seeing our 2 new signings play.

i'm totally backing us to win this. we've just had massive psychological boosts - nando is finally here and raring to go, gerrard is made up about it, pelle scored a 25 yard screamer on his debut with a liverpool XI. the vibe around the team must be very very good on top of the normal motivations for this game.

i'm dissapointed we don't have finnan as we need someone to deal with giggs down that side. their players we have to look out for are giggs, scholes and ronaldo, so some good marking and a few tough tackles to let them know where they are.

nando to come on for the second half and score his 6th debut goal.

nah i like it tbh, with Finnan out pusg Carra out to the right and bring the expereince of Pellegrino in at centre half - may struggle with the pace of Ronney and the likes but perhaps Traore at LM will give us a bit more of a defensive edge down that right hand side.
