Cisse is one dimensional. Hes ok if you want to sit deep and smash the ball forward forward for him to chase. He legs after it and scores. This would have worked for Houllier and his counter attack team. It doesnt work in Benitez team however. Unfortunately, and rather emabrassingly for him, and the club for buying him, he can do little else. Cisse cannot play with his back to goal, nor does he have good ball control. He has no sense of anything around him so is constantly flagged offside. When hes wide he crossing is poor. He sulks because he struggles in games through lack of ability. It frustrates him. Its sickening because we paid a record fee here, we got a wrong one again, simple as. He reminds me of a red setter chasing after a ball, he can get there with great speed but then falls over himself trying to do anything with it. Im sure he will be gone in January and thank god it will be over for him and us.

OK but how did he score all those goals in france then.
Counter attack football is all about the striker knowing how to stay on-side..
