Liverpool Schedule.

16 Oct, 2004  Fulham  Barclays Premiership  A

19 Oct, 2004  Deportivo La Coruna    H

23 Oct, 2004  Charlton Athletic  Barclays Premiership  H

26 Oct, 2004  Millwall  Carling Cup 3rd round  A  -

30 Oct, 2004  Blackburn Rovers  Barclays Premiership  A

03 Nov, 2004  Deportivo La Coruna  A

06 Nov, 2004  Birmingham City  Barclays Premiership  H

13 Nov, 2004  Crystal Palace  Barclays Premiership  H

20 Nov, 2004  Middlesbrough  Barclays Premiership  A

I think that if we can take all three points at Fulham (which is do-able) then we have an easy schedule all the way to Middlesborough Away.

Deportivo is not a good team this year and an away win is realistic. Our home form has been excellent, but our away form has been poor. The next few away matches that we will play, should be bankers. Let's not forget that we played Spurs, Bolton, Manure, Chelski  and Olympiacos away. These are tough teams to play on their ground.

Our next away games are a little easier, and we should go on a long run. By the time we play Middlesborough, we should have won eight in a row and will look better in the table. By then hopfully Gerrard and Nunez will be back.

nice post kazza, a bit of positive mental attitude, thas what we like to see
i gotta agree as well
those are the types of games we can take by the scruff of the neck and dominate quite well, it could be easy to see max points, but tis al ong way to go

Kazza

I agree.  We're going to have to grind out a few wins and then hopefully get a run going.  Fixtures look OK and we've played 7 with everyone above us playing 8.  A win would take us to 4th on goal diff.....that's not so bad.  Ok, the away form isn't great, but it's early days.  Nothing major to worry about that a good clear out and a bit of time won't sort!

An away win is so important and we need one asap.

A good run thru those games, and then picking up our game in hand points and we are right in the mixer.

Nice to see a posotive post on here these days.

Yay a possitive attitude *thumbs up*

Only thing I would have to say against that schedule is that no games are easy in the EPL these days it's just some are a little easier than other :(  ???

I agree Kazza. By mid November both Gerrard and Nunez are expected to be back.

Not a very realistic prediction though.

Sure, we will have an opportunity to put a run together, but there's probably a dodgy home draw and a defeat hidden somewhere in those fixtures.

Maybe I do sound pessimistic Leon but lets face it, when was the last time in the last 15 years you looked at Liverpool's fixture list and said x,y & z were home bankers?

We've lost so many times to the likes of Charlton, Southampton, Coventry etc when we were on a roll in the past so I'm not going to change my mind now.

All the same, I do think we will win a lot of those games, but I can see Millwall knocking us out of the league cup and there's probably another disappointing result somewhere in that list.

i can definitely see us winning all the home games. we should beat fulham and blackburn awaw but boro will be tricky. our recent record at the riverside is appalling. as for millwall, that's a lottery depending on what sort of side we put out.
