With a team that he didn't buy one player for , so did he really win it or was it the good work Hollier did ?

So Houllier bought Garcia (who scored vital goals) and Xabi Alonso?

aye ok i give u 2 players then but the rest of team wasn't clearly.

:D

so does that not then show how well rafa did taken a bunch of players who finished 30 odd points of the winners in the league to CL winners with a few additional players within one season ? or was that all down to the players and nothing to do with the manager ? if it was the players why didnt they do so well with GH then ?

cos they wasn't in it ?

O and by the way you can't bitch about GH cos he won us the tripple which i think was one of the best seasons I remember as a liverpool fan fecking legend.  :buttrock

and why werent they in it ? cause they didnt qualify cause they werent good enough to qualify .

And yes we won three cups in one year - i do remember as i managed to get to two of the finals to see but certainly a lot more memorable seasons than that and the CL05 trumps that season every week .

I have followed when we haven't been so great I think alot of you are spoiled with what you have witnesses I wish I had be around to see those great days but i wasn't.

So just cos I am younger maybe then you I am not as passionate fan what a load of toss I say i am even better fan cos I never followed the pool in glory days.

I know thats what you thinking.

Also inpataint bolloc 18 years mate I been wating thats 2 3rds of my life I don't think it to much to ask to win league in that time.

GH did well for three years and won some trophies - the last two years we went majorly backwards . During his reign we challenged once i think against arsenal in the league up until about the feb time - at no other time did we challenge for the league . During rafas time we have won that coveted 5 European Cup - consistenly qualified for the CL and consistently got through to the later stages of the CL . We have moved on since GH and have progressed and improved . 30 points behind the leaders when rafa arrived - what are we now ? that is improvement .

You can be stuck in the GH years if you want but i will prefer to look ahead and look at now .

? why will i be stuck in the Rafa years ? IF he goes (and he wont despite what you and others want ) then i will support a new manager and continue to support them while at the club just like i did with every single other manager .
