Seriously
Who do you think people should have a go at if not Rafa?

With a team that he didn't buy one player for , so did he really win it or was it the good work Hollier did ?

So Houllier bought Garcia (who scored vital goals) and Xabi Alonso?

Bit difficult to be if you're drawing or losing every fourth game. Still we've reached more cup finals (4) under Rafa than we've 2nd placed finishes in the league (0) I've not included the Super Cup final or World Club Championship debacle, or the Charity Shield. You could include them, or not, depending on how much of a trophy you rate it when playing one or two games only to win it.
04/05 League Cup Runners-Up (6 games)
04/05 Champions Of Europe (15 games)
05/06 UEFA Super Cup Winners (1 game)
05/06 Club World Championship Runners-Up (2 games)
05/06 FA Cup Winners (6 games)
06/07 Community Shield Winners (1 game)
06/07 Champions League Runners-Up (15 games)
Four proper, three others. But can you see Rafa improving enough to make second or Champions in the Premiership or simply continue the pattern? Not that we've won much or moved up the league in the last couple of seasons.

The worrying thing is that we have only ever scored first in one final (and we lost that) All the other cup finals we have either come from behind or lost.
Maybe if we were a little more adventurous we might have greater success ?

so does that not then show how well rafa did taken a bunch of players who finished 30 odd points of the winners in the league to CL winners with a few additional players within one season ? or was that all down to the players and nothing to do with the manager ? if it was the players why didnt they do so well with GH then ?

We aren't going for the league, mate. Sorry to burst your bubble there.
