Really hope that they do the decent thing tomorrow and cut there 3 game ban to a 2 game, No body gains an advantage or disadvantage by letting them both off and they will still be suspended for the other 2 games and from then on, no other club has an issue with the incident.

Carragher was saying how Mullins was devestated and crying in the tunnel after the game and who wouldnt be, his childhood dream ruined by a little push which harmed no way, the whole incident was stupidity and i bet they both have learnt enough of a lesson from it without missing out on the FA Cup final.

So come on the FA, no one gains anything by keeping them suspeneded from the final, i just hope that you do the right thing and let have have the chance to both play in there 1st FA Cup final.

It is stupid what they did, but I was watching John Aldo on the tele tonight and he said 'Mullins will be a bigger for them, than Garcia will be for us'

I fancy Cisse to start in the final, and get another 2.  Cardiff is set up for his pace

i am just of the opinion that any player who knew a red card would mean missing the final is stupid to get involved in anything like that on the pitch.

the same thing happend to irwin when he got red carded at anfield and i had no sympathy with him, so to be honet im not really having any sympathy at the moment.

players have to learn, if it was any other clubs invioved we would all be laughing

scrolling through here

the Irwin red was ridiculous though he didnt even kick the ball away was dribbling down the field with it. He has played enough cup finals but it would be sad for someone like Mullins to miss an oppertunity to play in one of the biggest games of his carrer.

i would feel that Hayden Mullins isnt the type of player who will play many cup finals so to deny him one is sad three game for a little aggro is a bit strict

So sentimentality takes over and Mullens is spared a ban and Garcia is not based on the spurious thory that he mifght not get another chance to play a Cup Final?  ???

Shouldn;t expect much more from the Mancs I suppose  :D

I haven't seen it, I was working when it was on, at the end of the day it was daft from what I have heard.  I think Garcia should of known better.  We all slated Robben for making a meal of a push, and from what I have heard their is no defending him.

Icant see the FA bending the rules.Mullins is a proffesional footballer who knew the consequences of his actions,no good crying over spilt milk springs to mind. While poor Lius is a victim of circumstance. He is a poor imigrant struggling to come to terms with life in this country. He has promised his widowed Mother,if he wins a cup final medal he will sell it to buy her a few more goats. His suspension must be lifted.Think of his poor Mother and 46 brothers and sisters.

In all seriousness If you raise your hands its a red one.Its unfortunate for both players to miss out but rules are rules

1 - The FA will not reduce the ban from 3 to 2 otherwise it will set a precadent (?)

2 - Garcias play acting (whilst I like him as a player) was nothing short of a disgrace. These are the kind of antics we sl.ag Chelsea off (Robben, Dragogba e.t.c.) I do not want our club labelled in the same respect as Chelsea - play actors and cheats. The way Garcia went down holding his face made me sick TBH, and in some way helped the ref in making the decision to send them both off.

Sorry Luis that was way out of order :no Stick to scoring important goals in the big matches, you are much better at that  :D

I agree that Luis' play-acting was Chelski-esque and bang out of order.  I also agree that Mullins needs to control himself better.

However, I see no harm in Carra's suggestion.  I've thought for a long time that suspensions should be put on hold for Cup Finals.  They should both serve 3 match bans, but I see no problem with the third of those being the first match of next season.
