Well..in my preference I think Gerard should stay no matter what! Because he should not just leave Liverpool who has saved his team many times and worked well with team and leave, he rather stay and maintain he captaincy and be a true Liverpudlian!

Just a sad reflection on the situation at this club that our rivals can go out and openly said they are coming to get our best players. Gerrard is our best player by a mile and if he does leave, all the signings planned for next year will not matter. It is all about motivation and getting the best out of our current squad and GH has failed miserably. When will the board wake up from their slumber and realised that not only is GH not making progress with this club, but in a medium term is taking this squad backwards (with our best stars leaving for peanuts and the underperformers staying for the duration and collect the fat check and living the lifestyle of superstars).

If Gerard was sold by Liverpool to Man UTD it would be the biggest blow I have ever experienced as a Liverpool fan, worse than Rush being sold to Juventus, worse than Dalglish resigning, worse than Souness, Evans and Houllier.

However, I think it won't happen.

The whole Stevie to ManU thing is complete toss anyway. Typical tabloid nonsense when they've no real stories so instead they state the obvious - "ManU/Arsenal etc etc would like to sign Gerrard!" No s##t, really??! Apparently bears s##t in the woods and grass is green as well! Amazing! I'm sure every club in the premiership would love to sign Stevie but that doesn't mean he's actually f##king going anywhere.
