Malbranque i think is a good choice for right wing!
Centre Mid take your pick Joe Cole is a good choice he has a very high work rate bags of skill though his goals maybe his only downside!
What about Welsh?
I'm not really seen him play but here good things?

erik bakke? you must be kidding. the guy could'nt get in leeds team when fit this season.

as for malbranque, the guy has class written all over him but he's not a winger. he can't influence the game enough from out wide. that's why at fulham, he plays right mid but is by no means stuck to the line.

As long as the team strategy is to use our full backs as attacking options!

It is blatantly obvious houllier has lost the plot a long time ago with constantly playing players out of position and it is not rocket science to see we are going nowhere under his philosiphy.
We ara half way to a great midfield with Kewell and Gerrard and we have many good options for the other 2 positions.
The best 2 players IMO would be VDV as him and Gerrard in the centre would make an awesome partnership and out wide on the right Jaoquin would become an Anfield legend.
Fair enough these 2 players are world class and would cost an arm and a leg but if we qualify for champs lge we will be able to attract the top players.
There are also cheaper options like Van Der Meyde wide right or Milner who is the youngest scorer in prem ahead of that bluenose wannabe scum rooney and we could get him from leeds for peanuts.
In the middle there is Cole who again could be picked up cheap or Malbranque but then again I would prefer Cole myself.
