Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Ciggy » Fri Nov 28, 2008 6:32 pm

In january I really think we need to get a Gary Mac type in, someone with experience, someone who has got bottle and nerve.
Because if we are still there or there abouts next year I worry some of our lot might bottle it.

So suggestions? I think Heinze & Henry ( on the offal again today :D )

Would be great additions to have.

Any more players to throw into the mix? That people think would make a difference?
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Heinze would be a great buy.  I got excited last year over "confirmed" Henry rumours so not again.  But imagine Henry in January :D

I wouldn't mind alittle bit of Xavi or i'd even have a go with Robben if he's not injured .

He always has loved us but has also said he would not play for a premiership team out of respect for Arsenal.  I would be made up with Henry as he is still young enough and can you imagine the impact he will have on a certain Mr Babel.

But I got carried away last year and wanted to believe instead of thinking about it rationally..

But imagine Henry in January :D

I'd love Henry here.  He was probably the best player to ever play in the EPL, his dribbling was just out of this world. I'm sure he'd be a great addition to the team, if he was used upfront.

Obviously id go for Henry. But barring that id love to see Riquelme great little playmaker wearing the red shirt , or hear we go again Simao  can play either flank. Anyone of them three for me

Riquelme is too slow. If you are looking at him then you may aswell look at Aimar.

Since Real and United are p!ssed at eachother, I can see them selling Heinze to us to make Fergie explode
