We are desperate for another player besides Gerrard and Torres to step up and take the game, I always seem to look at Xabi and he never seems to do it as good as he does play for the team.
Get rid of Dossena, Babel and Lucas in the summer and spend big on 2 players, a Forward and a Right winger.

To be totaly honest this is the best i have felt about a defeat to Everton. 

1 probally because i haven't gone out to watch it and haven't been wound up,  and also cos i don't want us playing another game to put us off going for the league or the CL.

It has to be the shidest Derby I have ever seen.Lucas what can you say and I'll leave it there I can't be ased saying anything about him and also Dirk Kuyt who I despise more and more every game I see him play,unless we get Gerrard back and a fit Torres we will win FA this season.

I am begining to like this forum and dont get me wrong I dont come on here to be negative.

After sunday my head was  ... thinking ... yeah ....yes we can do this.

I read other peoples posts on here some very negative and I agree that we can concentrate on the PL and Champions League.

But I really REALLY hope for my sake I am NOT back on here on Saturday night possibly with the rest of you posters after watching us play like that again devoid of ideas against Porstmouth ...  I dread to think....!!!

yeah they mentioned the second thing that the ref picke dup was a coin and ciggy there was a plastic bottle being trown onto the pitch .

I cannot believe that some mebers are suggesting there are positives in that performance, that is one of the worst games of football I have ever seen. We must have created about 3/4 chances all game.
1) 451 is a terrible formation that stops us breaking down any defensive team as they simply sit deeper.
2) 5 years on and the football is getting worse, its like watching Bolton at time with long balls to Torres.
3) Torres having to do everything on his own burning himself out without support.
4) 195m on and still no squad in depth with a terrible lack in quality on the bench.
I like everyone tryed to keep faith in rafa thinking he had a new style or was going to do it a differant way but at some point we all have to accept he is wrong !! in fact only he thinks he isn't tonight on the TV I have seen Rush, Aldridge and Dalgliesh all trying to bite their tongue when clealy they want to say "What the hell is he doing". All the similarities are their is Rafa is Houlier in disguise (Oh wait a minute the Frenchman spent less and won more silverwear)
