El hadji diouf is a disgrace - He needs help

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

i don't know if any of you saw the boro-bolton match on sunday but it was another example of why we should get rid of diouf asap. hell, i'm surprised bolton want to keep him after his recent behaviour.

on sunday he was repeatedly getting involved in petty incidents and was booked yet again. however the worst thing came when he was subbed. apparently he was down by the dugout and the boro fans were giving him a load of stick. so he took a mouthful of water from a lucozade bottle and spat it into the crowd. it went all over a 11 yr old boy sat near the front.

disgraceful behaviour.

stmichael, i didnt hear about that, but i saw him ghet a load of stick tho and thought he was class when he took his time taking the corners.
he gets al ot of stick, and a lot of media hype, eg the spitting water all over the boy.
maybe he did do it and if he did then i take this all back but just let the guy play footy yeah? thats what i think

they will do don't you worry about it. a boro fan phoned in the local phone-in last night and described the incident. he has wrote a letter of complaint to boro, bolton and the fa.

diouf seriosly has a screw loose in the face of provocation.

Not true, if this Times news report at the weekend is to be believed...

"One witness claimed Diouf mimed spitting at supporters as he left the pitch but perhaps he had already invited his moral retribution."

Didn't see the match myself, but I imagine - given his track record - he'll have had cameras following him off the pitch. As what you're saying hasn't been all over  the papers, I think it's balls. Sounds distinctly like something made up by a disgruntled Middlebrough fan to me, particularly the bit about an 11-year-old being involved.

they saw diouff play well, help earn bolton the point and they got all annoyed. Maybe he did it, maybe he didnt. personally i say he didnt or there would have been a major uproar.
all i heard on that game were whining middlesborough boo boys whod rather boo a player than watcha  game of football

If we're suddenly taking what fans say on phone-ins as fact, then this forum is doomed.

Remember when Cantona did his little kung-fu kick? The station I was listening to after the game said they'd had calls from 30 different people all claiming to have been hit by him.

He was consistantly poor for Liverpool. Period.

He walks around like he thinks he's Pele.

I'm all for players being confident, but when he's being paid the amount of money he is and he plays as bad as he does, I just have to wonder where he gats his confidence from.

dawson i respect what you say partly as i say the same about a few other players. cheyrou, smicer, Biscan.

but diouff didnt have the attitude. it was all wrong. he thinks he's big time and LFC dont do players like this. yes he mmay be better than what he showed for us but not by much.

but its more about the attitude.totally wrong.no understanding or appreciation of the club on his part.
