I think even bordeaux may finish 3rd and you 4th. Liverpool have better players than Galatasaray. PSV have better players than Galatasaray. I think even Bordeaux do. Micoud vs hasan sas, no contest.

I respect Galatasaray and they are a good team but in this group they are the worst out of a good bunch.

Maybe u're right but I watched so many Galatasaray victories against teams who have bigger names in their squads.

Now I'm considering Galatasaray, but what do they offer? Do they have a Roman Ambramovich? You know a feller who will and can splash millions on players for quick success? I'm looking for a team that doesn't have to scrimp and save.  :kungfu:

Galatasaray Spor Kulübü (Galatasaray Sports Club, or Galatasaray SK) is a Turkish sports club based in İstanbul which is most famous for its football section. Founded in 1905 by Ali Sami Yen and his fellows from the prestigious Galatasaray High School, Galatasaray currently has 16 Turkish league championships, and also won the UEFA Cup and UEFA Super Cup in 2000 to become European Champions. Galatasaray also topped the world club ranking to be named "Best Football Club in the World" in January of 2001. [1]

Galatasaray is one of only two teams to have won the UEFA Cup without being beaten in a single match, and is also notable for being the first team to win the competition after having been knocked out of the Champions League. In winning the UEFA Cup during the 1999/2000 season, beating Arsenal of England on penalties, Galatasaray became the first Turkish football club ever to win a European trophy. Galatasaray also holds the world record of most games won in a row at home (24 games in a row: 13 May 2001 - 8 December 2002).

The club's ground, Ali Sami Yen Stadyumu, reopened for the 2004-05 season, and a massive renovation project of one of its stands was completed in the 5th week of the 2005-2006 season. Galatasaray clinched their 16th League title after they beat Kayserispor 3-0 as Fenerbahce SK were held to a draw. Galatasaray qualified for the Champions League group stage for the 2006-07 season.

Now I'm also watching the Super Cup game on TV and Sevilla is beating Barca 2-0,and misses the chance to score the 3rd one 2 minutes ago, watching this match reminds me one more time that it's ridiculous to make a guess about football before the game by looking at their squad qualities.Every team can beat another, this is football, and maybe that makes it the most enjoyable game in the world....

But if I move to Turkey and get a season ticket, would I be welcomed by Fenerbahce fans? Would I fit in? Are they any traditions I would need to follow, like learn songs for example?
