The muppet prize will go to the first t!t to say Martin O'Neill.

You lot will be playing the likes of Millwall at Woodison next season a match made in heaven

We have failed to build on our CL success last season. That should of been our golden ticket to sign some top class players - but we failed.
Our league form has simply been awful. That night in May has clouded many peoples judgement IMO - including my own. But as the games roll by, we're not seeing any significant improvement on last season, and I fear of many repeats of last seasons episodes (eg beaten by Crystal Palace) are just around the corner.
Maybe that Final win was a fluke? Maybe Rafa can't walk on water?
I hope I'm wrong.
I think it's high time that people stopped all this "in Rafa we trust"and jumping on the backs of those who call him. Until he delivers the Premiership title, the jury is still out.

I don't want to see anyone other than Rafa managing Liverpool, but we need to start improving in the league. It is true that I have doubts, but only because I have witnessed so many false dawns since King Kenny left - I just hope this isn't another one.
No one expects us to win the league this season, but we are all expecting to close the gap. We have so far improved on the corresponding results, but performances are echoing last year (and the year before).

Are you blind? we are improving on last years total. When you add up our points from corresponding fixtures last year we have improved dramatically..... (pauses to do sum math))
Team : Middlesbrough
Last year: 0 Points
This year: 1 Point
Team : Sunderland
Last Year : 3 points (take any of the promoted teams from last year)
This Year : 3 Points
Team : Tottenham
Last Year - 1 Point
This Year - 1 Point
Team : Man Utd
Last Year : 0 Points
This year : 1 Point
Team : Birmingham City
Last Year : 0 Points
This Year : 1 Point
Team : Chelsea
Last Year : Robbed
This Year : Don't really wanna talk about it![]()
Team : Blackburn
Last Year : 1 point (Cisse out for 6 months)
This Year : 3 Points
_ _ _ _ _
Last year Total : 5 points
This Year's Total : 10 Points
As you can tell we have an extra 5 points from corresponding fixtures than we did last year. which is EXACTLY DOUBLE!! Many of you are looking for a mircale cure, and while Benitez did deliver the CL last year, I for one never expected a 1st place finish. We are moving forward and people need to accept that there won't be any quick fixes on the way to success. Unless of course we get an investment of around 200 million, then we'd be set !
