Murphy MUST have scored one free kick this season.

Seriously though, this is one of the areas we simply MUST brush up on. Think about it, I know we have had hundreds of free kicks in the vicinity of the penalty box in the last few seasons, and we constantly fail to hit the target. Kewell blazes over, Stevie G opts for power but not much placement, Hamann just blasts it into row Z and Riise, why the fook cant this lad hit a ball that isnt moving??? Its beyond me about Riise.

Any good dead ball merchants who moved to Liverpool could easily grab 10-15 goals a season, as there is no one else who can hit a good free kick. Murphy is the only exception, and he never plays.

This is something we need to address, a right winger with good free kick skills and we would have scored ten plus more goals this season.

Good shout Murf, what are you doing up at this time though. I think he feels that he owes Boro something after they resurected his career this season when no one else would give him a chance.

World Class though, and I would take him for a couple of million.

There's talk this morning of him signing a 4 year permanent deal so we'd have to get in there quick, I agree that he is a class act.....
