Breaking news kuyte to join in jan - Cisse going other way + 4m

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby welsh wizzard » Fri Sep 30, 2005 9:03 pm

I heard this evening that kuite will be joining in january! The deal will see cisse going the other way plus 4m. The story was on talk sport some dutch football pundit has revealed that a deal has been struck in principle between both clubs in the last 24 hrs.
It sounds very promising and a good deal if this comes true, Kuite is a very good young player and has much more to offer liverpool. He has a better all round ability than cisse, and will hopefully get us 20+ goals in a season, he is being likened to a young Alan Shearer. By all accounts rafa wanted him this summer when he got rid of baros he was his target, but was persuaded to go for owen, and lost out.

Could this be the first rumour posted by Wizzard with any substance??

:no

I'm still waiting for Owen and Metzelder to 'sign within the week' as you previously informed us :D   That was about 2 months ago FFS

This is straight up, kuijt spelt right scored 6 goals for them already this season is on his way. Radio Merseyside has also mentioned this earlier this evening.

I told you talksport had a pundit on from a newspaper in Holland, who stated it and by all accounts it has been mentioned on radio merseyside earlier. So there must be some truth in it.

Bullshit. Cisse is a paid professional, if he can deal with a broken leg then he can deal with rumours, it's part of a footballer's life.

Weather Dirk Kuijt comes or not Cisse will NOT be going to Feyenoord noway he will go there, he may link back up with houllier, but Kuijt wants to stay with feyenoord till the end of the season and he has said he wont go anywhere till after the world cup.
And it will be between us/Chelsea maybe?/ manure/ and Spurs Jol wants him badly he's dutch may have some pull in getting him there. Depending on how well he plays this season, Feyenoord want mega bucks for him and will want him to go to Chelsea, because Rafa wont pay an obscene amout out for him.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Chelsea and Man Utd? I don't think they will be interested. It's more likely going to be us, Newcastle and Tottenham.
