What were your best and worst moments of 04-05 besides obviously winning the european cup!

Best,either beating arsenal at anfield with that neill mellor goal in the dying seconds,the stevie g goal against olympiakos to send us through to the knockout stages or the final whistle against chelsea in the semi final.Ill have to go with the mellor strike because i was right behind it in the kop.

worst:gettin dumped outta the fa cup by burnley thanks to some show boating by djimi or loosing 2-0 to southampton at st marys.

Worst:Cisse's leg break.

Best:(aside from winning the Champions League) Knocking Chelsea out in the semis, proving to Maureen and co. that you can't buy team spirit.
Cisses comeback was also one of my favourite moments.

Worst: Loss of Cisse and Alonso for the most important part of the season

Best: Arrival of Fernando Morientes and victory against Olympiakos

Worst - losing 2 - 0 at southampton, then losing to palace 1 nil off that horrid Andy Johnson goal, I still think if he had moved out of the way, we would be in the champions league. Cisse breaking his leg, and the first half of the champions league, I was outside the bar at halftime crying and some Italians drove by yelling about how we didn't come to play football,  I started to chase the jeep, but they took off too fast, I have never been so angry.

Best, Mellor screamer against Arsenal, Gerrard against olympiaokos(sp?) Cisse urging the crowd on at the end of the second leg against chelsea , absolutely brilliant to see. Then Terry kicked the ball at him. The best of course was the cup, but so many great little moments here and there that made me look forward to next season, I knew this season was going to be a building season, next year is going to be amazing ( I don't expect trophies, I expect heart! )

Worst: loosing in cc final. That's about the lowest i've felt in the last year. I was nearly in tears looking at gerrard sitting dejected on the ground after the final whistle.

Best: 1) gerrards peach against olympiakos and 2) winning the european cup

Best: comeback in 2nd half against milan and winning the champions league, gerrard goal against olympiakos, mellor screamer against arsenal in last second to win, end of semi final 2nd leg against chelsea

Worst: losing carling cup final, fa cup loss to burnley, cisse breaking leg, frustrating defeats to a number of weaker sides such as 0-2 against southampton, 0-1 crystal palace, finishing behind everton in the league, losing to everton away

Best - The Atmosphere at Anfield against Chelsea in the CL Semi Final - Utterley Awesome

Best - Mellor's last minute gaol against Arsenal - Went mental on the Kop and ended up 6 rows in front of where we sit !

Best - CL Final in Istanbul - Words fail even me !!!


Worst (For the Player)- Cisse's break

Worst -(Angriest moment as a fan) Alonso's Booking at Chelsea for a nothing tackle !

Worst (Disappointment) Travelling to Burnley (Twice) and seeing the reserves trot out at the start

worst.....parying to god that Cisse and Alonso would recover miraculously from Injury after a complete lack of class and imagination from the rest of the team.
Worst...Also Losing to Man Utd at Anfield.....I want to shoot rooney. 

Best..........Seeing harry kewells bird (sheree, aout side anfield before one particular match in the car park.... and then my thoughts ...mmmmmmmmmm! ) !
