The Liverpool boys are in Town – 1978 – 82

THE LIVERPOOL BOYS ARE IN TOWN 'where d'ya get yer trainees from' a nostalgic look back at Liverpool in the late seventies / early eighties.

How the fashion of wanting the latest trainees [samba, forest hills, stan smith] led up to the liberation of adidas trainees from Europe [strapovers, grand prix, grand slam, trimm trab,].  A glimpse at the clothes of the era [slazengers, peter storm, adi ST2 cagoules, numerous jeans etc]. Also includes a brief mention of pubs and clubs of the day and the shops. Also quite a few pics included.

Only 300 produced and all numbered. Done independently and no publisher involved. The HJC shop will have a limited amount with all proceeds going to the campaign, all other sales will cover costs of print.

Some books available in the tourist shop [impressions] In JL Airport and a shop in Albert Dock [also impressions, I think].

Limited copies are available at the HJC shop for £7.00 or £8.00 by post. Overseas orders should be for £9.00, this includes £2.00 postage.
