HJC bands on E-Bay...

The idea of the bands is two fold [1] To try and create more awareness for the fight for justice and [2] To try and raise much needed funds to help run the HJC.

The HJC don't want anyone to put bands on the likes of E-Bay, even if the proceeds are donated to the HJC. Nobody should pay more that the going rate.

E-Bay have been contacted to see if they can put a "stop" on anyone submitting HJC bands either individually or with proceeds to the HJC?

If anyone visit's E-Bay and see's a HJC band for auction. please feel free to contact them and ask them to "remove" the auction and refer any of the bidders to this thread.

How can ebay stop them from selling them?  If the person paid for it, then they can sell it for as much as they'd like as long as people would be willing to pay for it.  I in no way support this, but its the truth

Message just posted to pear2001, the current highest bidder for a wristband.

What do you want to pay £51.00 for the wristband for?  They cost £1.00 and ALL OF THE MONEY goes to the Hillsborough Justice Campaign.

You are lining the pockets of some scumbag who is making money by selling this wristband at a profit off the back of 96 deceased Liverpool fans.

Shame on you for contributing.

His Reply

Sorry if i upset you, but i'm not actually buying the wristbands all i'm doing is out-bidding other buyers so that they don't buy them! Do you really think that i would actually give some scumbag money? I've had quite a high success rate at the moment having 4 sellers items removed! With item number 7140602606 being cancelles after i bid nearly 10million! Look i'm sickened by the scum selling the Hillsborough wristbands on ebay and have written to ebay on a number of occasions to complain but to no success. So if you ever see a bid with my seller name on there pear2001 don't worry i'm not buying just trying to stop people cashing in on the 96. Justice for the 96 Thanks Lee
