No you're wrong. At least for what I can tell mate.

Out of my closest friends, 2 are men and 2 women. The former are nice for drinks and direct insight, the women are nice for coffees and advices.

The important thing to do is not to delude yourself. If you fancy her as something more, do not pretend to be just ok and being friends, you have to be honest from the very beginning or it will hurt. But if you truly convince yourself that she'll be nothing more than a friend then it can be a very productive relationship.

Having girls as friends is a nice thing. You learn from them, and when you don't have couple, you know, they know more girls

It's always nice to have a couple of friends that are girls, very handy when you don't know what present to buy to your mom or your girlfriend.
