My own biggest fears are
1 That the board appoint a manager who has the credentials but will not be able to adapt to the premiership or british football. What I mean is that they don't understand the significance of a Derby match or a cup match. Its alright talking about foreign managers but they all take time to adjust, British culture is vastly different to that of many continetal countries, Thats why I would prefer a manager from the British Isles. I don't mean to offend anyone but if Houllier could'nt do it they why should another european manager succeed.
2 That the board accept this Thaksin bid. I really beleive this could turn out to be the biggest farce in football. Its one thing for and individual to spend his own money but to be wanting the Thai people to buy the club is a joke. Moores owns 51% of the club thats according to this deal a value of 102 million, surely thats way below the value of LFC. Did'nt granada buy 10% for 20 million some 6 or 7 years ago whats happened to inflation. According to the figures Liverpool is valued at 200 million but we have a gross turnover of over 100 million. this all dosent add up to me. can anyone explain it all?
