I used to love one of our PE teachers in my secondary school. He was gorgeous. The other one wasnt bad either  One of them used to be in charge of the Liverpool schoolboys an was good for tickets sometimes the other was A fella named Barry Whitebread lovely pair of legs
he ended up going to the states with stevie Hieghway and years later his lad played for us Zac Whitbread.

I dont like my views being deleted.  Wrong or right, this is a forum. My point about maypax was well within my right to voice an opinion.

Posted before I saw this bit.  So, to clarify.  Your comments last night were deleted--not because there was anything wrong with them--but because they quoted a post that needed to be deleted.  I suppose I could have just edited out the quoted part and left the rest but your post would have seemed awfully strange without the context.  No offense intended.



Now, as for this Maypax business, I really think that people are blowing everything out of proportion.  First of all, Maypax hasn't been permanently banned, he's been temporarily suspended.  And while the posting of Woof's PM was the final straw, the cards were surely down to a larger pattern of behaviour going back at least a couple of months with the young lad.  As Mods we sometimes need to send a firm message when gentler ones aren't sinking in and I'm sure that's what's happened in this case. 

The irony, of course, is that Maypax would probably have been reinstated by now if people, including Maypax himself, had just let sleeping dogs lie (see what I did there? ).  But, the constant carping over a decision about which few people--including me--have all the facts has understandably frustrated my colleague (who is, by the way, an exemplary Mod) and I don't blame him for getting a little surly.  My advice would be for everyone to just leave it now, let things settle back down and I'm sure we'll see Maypax again before too long.

I think you are mistaken Bob. There was no "constant carping", and as far as I am aware (and I get on here a little bit) his previous "form" was an argument with someone in which he wasn't the instigator, and posting an obituary that Woof didn't happen to like.

A little common sense and all this cr@p would have been avoided.

As members, we are always looking for new members to join our community. It seems lately a select few get through. It seems to me that all the members on here are quite happy to introduce new members, and indeed the few do get through. There was a topic a while back in which Dundalk pointed out how few they were who stayed. The patience shown by those here at the time introduced the new members. Nanny, LFC 2007, Toffeehater, Maypax. From last year, those are the regulars.

However it seems to me the rules are a little too tight. I dont agree with the insults. If insults are used to make strong an argument you put forth then you have no case. You deserve every card you get.

What does get me is that this place is becoming more Politically Correct than the governments brigade they have operating.

Correct me if im wrong, this is indeed the internet. And people posting on this forum are real people yes? with there own real views and beliefs? People on this forum post there own humurous retorts? Post there own problems for the good folk on here to find a solution to.

Just as we can laugh at the jokes made of the austrian fella who kept his daughter in the basement (Look up Gen. Chat for reference) we mourn the loss of the Everton supporting lad.

It is an internet based forum, but kept alive by real people. This forum isnt operated by the government, its operated by real people, and moderated by real people.

All different kinds of people post on here, id like to think this forum was run by humans and not robots.
