WOOHOO

I took my English Lit GCSE a year early and I got my result before and found out I've got a B. I was 5 marks off an A but I'm still happy with my B.

Just think I was taking that exam when I was 14 when people who were 16 were taking it and did better than some of them :eyebrow

I'm going to take my English Language International GCSE in November. And then I will finish off the other 9 during the normal exam week.

Anyone else got results today?

There was one that I knew everything on and one I only knew a bit about. I just saw the first question and started to do it (this was the one I only knew a bit about). Half way through it, I realised the other question underneath it but I didn't realise the word OR between the questions. I couldn't start again because I was halfway through the question and I wouldn't have enough time to do the poetry at the end.

I'm happy with my B, but if I'd have done the other question I think I'd have got those extra 5 marks and got my A but that's life.

I did Of Mice and Men, at school (some years ago) and it was the one book I couldn't stand.
I suppose the idea was good, but hated the 'language' in it.
