All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

The technology in the natal is amazing in console and controller less games, but its actually not amazingly advanced in terms of current technology the trick will be encorporating the features of the natal in future games in an inverntive way.

Development kits are already out there so developers are getting a head start which is good. Somebody mentioned programming for this, I imagine the programming of games remaining more or less the same, microsoft usually make their programming environments very user friendly (imo) and most of the interpritation of movement and such will be done in the background of the API.

Sorry this is a liverpool forum and im blabbing about game programming, i'll be quiet now :-S

I think the natal will be imense fun, if it works the way they suggest and if the games are inventive and most of all if the price is right :p

The demonstration of controlling a F1 car with just your hands is just daft. I don't know who MS are trying to fool here, but for me as a gamer, I'd prefere to have a replica Porche wheel that gives accurate force feedback and resistence as well as having a gear stick to change gears to control my racing sims. Now that's proper immersion.

its typical microsoft co'ck waving and making promises they'll never be able to deliver. the technology exists as parts - i.e. they can track the body using infra-red then create a 'cloud' of control points using that but i've heard that the one demo game they have showed at the fairs looks remarkably like pre-recorded video and carefully trained actors.
