A measly 3mbit.
In Ireland broadband speeds are waaaaaaay too slow compared to the rest of Europe.
I'm going away with the missus for a few days and when I'm come back I'm aiming to overclock the q6600 to about 3.2GHZ and the graphics card by about 10%.

1/ Increasing my RAM from 2 gb to 4gb (only a 32bit windows system so only 1gb to 1.5gb actual increase?)would cost about £35
2/ New graphics card (256mgb 7900gs at present) 8800 GT would cost about £150?
3/ Second 256mgb 7900gs card ? Are there any games using 2 graphics cards yet?

Fair enough mate, my mate always corrects me on my 'their' and 'there' in emails and it p155es me off, I don't see what the problem is as I'm not exactly typing a message to the queen, if I was then I'd understand it, but seeing as though I'm not I find it demoralising, no one likes a smart ar5es![]()

My Pc is fairly old now (Radeon 9200, 512 Ram AMD Athlon 2700+ running XP) and i'm looking at buying a few bits, from ebay or wherever, new or old, for it to spruce things up. I'm not looking for something near what JBG does with his PC's as I don't play bleeding edge games like Crysis or SupCom.
I've been looking at a few graphics cards to help out with performance for the likes of HL2, PES6 etc and someone mentioned getting something like a radeon 9800 XT - cheap to buy with enough bang for my buck to help games run a bit smoother. I've seen one on ebay for about £8!
Basically, i want to know, considering the budget I am setting (looking at £8 graphics cards, you can probably guess), what can anyone recommend I should look for? Is it worth looking at a slightly better graphics card, or investing in some more ram or even a new proccessor?
I'm aware that really I should start from scratch and all that - however, i'm just looking for a quick fix as i've got a spanking new PS3 coming in May which will facilitate my COD4 needs just fine.
Thanks in advance peeps.
