The world will mourn, only a  few will refuse to acknowledge the role she played in transforming a decaying post war economy into the modern era. So be it, she would accept that.

Rest in peace.

Strange post. What of those who've suffered in Burma these last 50 years, in Central America, Brazil, Paraguay and a lost of other latin american countries during the 70's etc... those who were abused and died in the Soviet labour camps and still suffer in Chinese and North Korean labour camps when all other governments turned and continue to turn a blind eye for political expediency?

Dictators are not new, but Thatcher was voted in - 3 times - then moved aside when the need arose. If you want to accuse leaders of not facing up to Pinochet then start with those who's names start with the letter 'A' and keep going til you reach 'Z'.

I hope she's not really dead and inwardly screaming as such as they bury her alive ,and when they finally exhume the body
the coffin is littered with her broken fingernails ...... grade a cunt

Far too emotive of an issue to be drawn into talking politics ,but I will definitely indulge in my own special little jig sometime
in the wee small hours.

Shame she died knowing the current Government is continuing her work by attempting to destroy and
demonise the working classes.

I would be surprised if anyone who grew up in a working class northern background during her leadership
will be shedding a tear today and certainly not in the City of Liverpool surely.

I will mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy.

If MT hadn't come to power, what would have happened? would Jim Callaghan kept going whilst constantly giving in to every union demand... Michael Foot?.... Neil spineless Kinnock?

Or from the tories William Whitelaw, Pym, Lawson etc..?

There was no born leader out there, you didn't like the girl but who else could have turned the economy around?
