Shocking.  As a fellow Rutgers Alum and for all he has done for the local community here, it is a huge loss.  Had the good fortune to meet and hang out with him
a bunch of times at tailgate parties.  Played a round of golf with him once in a charity golf outing.  Was a genuine nice guy, sort of guy you would most like to hang out with
and have a few beers.

He always played the hard guy in films and obviously the Sopranos, but really you couldn't have met someone who personified the meaning of "Everybody's Friend".

He will be truly missed amongst the Rutgers community.  Big loss for us.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

Wow, I was just thinking about re-watching the show the other day. Shocking news. RIP Tony Soprano.

A mighty fine actor.

As you'd expect, I haven't seen a single episode of the Sopranos however he was a great film actor. I first saw him in The Last Castle (2001) with Robert Redford as the prison governor in which was quite superb.   RIP
