Bloody hell shocking news.

We had our disagreements down the years but Stu was always a valued member of this forum. Always stood his ground and never backed down.

RIP lad.

He has given me the address of Stu's parents as a contact. I don't think it would be right to put the address up on public view but please PM me if you would like the address to send a card and I will share it.

Thanks

Appreciate the family privacy that Scott is protecting here.

I've asked Sott to pm me the family addy. Not sure how much comfort it will afford (if any) to Stu's family but I will be sending a card of condolence to his Mum and Dad.

Hope fellow Newkiter's all over the world will consider doing the same.

I'm still stunned at the news of Stu's passing and close to tears when I read and re-read the unrelenting humour and optimism he expressed in those last months spent in hospital

YNWA Stu, you may have gone lad but you'll never be forgotten.

I also have details of funeral arrangements for Stu which will take place this Friday should anybody wish to have the details. I know that Leon is looking to go if he is able to attend.

Absolutely gutted to hear this news.

Been on this forum for over 10 years and Stu's posts where honestly the ones I enjoyed reading most.
Knew his stuff definitely.

He did get himself into bother pretty often due to his refusal to see anything other than his own opinion but this forum was much better for him being a part of it.

Genuinely choked reading this thread and thoughts are with his family.

RIP Stu mate you will be deeply missed  :(

Not sure how some of the old members who haven't been around for awhile got the sad news about Stu but it's certainly gratifying to see those Newkit veterans posting and offering their respect to Stu.

Woof, the funeral arrangements stated no flowers for the actual ceremony although I am sure that Stu's parents would be very appreciative of flowers sent directly to them at the address I PM'd you. Would be happy to chip in mate

Sad news indeed. I remember talking to Stu quite regularly in the past. We spoke on MSN messenger, must have been around 10 years ago or so. Always respected how he carried his passion for the club and game to different aspects of his life.
I'm a little lost for words but you were gone too soon lad. RIP and YNWA

Terrible to hear the news. Very stubborn at times, but always enjoyed the fact that I never felt he was beating around the bush or bullshitting. More recently I found myself agreeing with him more and more, and it scared the Sh*t out of me!  :D

He'll be missed, and I hope his last bit of time was comfortable. Way too young to go. RIP Stu.
