Anyone with any suggestions for decent gaffs in london? Not too keen on the idea of a sports cafe type place, and would greatly appriciate some ideas (i hope this doesnt invite ridicule)

The 1,000-plus capacity Olympia, in West Derby Road, is hoping to create an Athens-style Kop, with fans encouraged to bring their homemade banners.

Aldo’s Bar, in Victoria Street, will link up to owner John Aldridge, who is co-commenting for Radio City.

The Sandon, in Oakfield Road, Anfield, will hold up to 1,000 punters for a Athens/Liverpool party with staff in traditional Greek costume.

Andersons, in Exchange Street East, is selling tickets for £30 for a free bar event while showing the football.

Pan American Club and Blue Bar, at the Albert Dock, are hosting Greek-styled menus before the game.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Wish I could get over to Liverpool to watch, but cant get the time off work. So'll be watching on big screens in one of 2 pubs in East Belfast, which is be wall to wall with Liverpool supporters. I'm really looking forward to it.

Will probably end up blocked and not going to work the next day :D

will be watching in the local which i watched the 2005 final and every other european game since with 8 fellow reds...

i think the one in barbican mentioned before is closed down....there are a couple of others, the king's head in islington and queen's head. and the famous three kings which are apparently packed with reds come matchdays
